The NSNF promotes the development of new nursing knowledge in stroke care. It aims to do this by:
- Highlighting areas where there is a lack of evidence
- Recommending research priorities
- Communicating research opportunities in nursing
- Promoting career development opportunities for nurse researchers
- Providing a network to connect clinical and academic nurses with an interest in stroke.
